Nothing seems more pleasant than enjoying a hot cup of tea in the winter mornings! Make you tea more interesting with the addition of Kashmiri Kahwa to it. Kahwa not only protects you from this cold weather, but as well provides warmth to your body. It is surely a must have in the winter season!

- 4 tsp green leaves
- Pinch of saffron (kesar)
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 green cardamom
- 2 cloves
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup almonds
Mix the saffron flakes in 1/2 cup of hot water and keep aside.
Add 2 cups of water, sugar, cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves to the pan and boil for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
Then add green leaves and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.Keep stirring in between.

Remove from flame and filter.
Put it on the flame again.
Add the almonds and saffron solution.
Let it boil for more 1-2 minutes and turn off the flame.
