- 4 tsp green leaves
- Pinch of saffron (kesar)
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 green cardamom
- 2 cloves
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup almonds

Mix the saffron flakes in 1/2 cup of hot water and keep aside.
Add 2 cups of water, sugar, cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves to the pan and boil for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
Then add green leaves and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.Keep stirring in between.

Remove from flame and filter.
Put it on the flame again.
Add the almonds and saffron solution.
Let it boil for more 1-2 minutes and turn off the flame.
