Sounds delicious, right? A classic combination of bananas and walnuts in the form of a cake, this recipe has everything we love! It’s easy to make and light and scrumptious to eat. Just like the Victorian era taught us, this cake works best with a hot cup of tea or coffee. It also makes for a great comfort food!

- 140 g over- ripe bananas
- 110g walnuts, chopped
- 110 g sugar
- 55ml milk
- 55 g eggs
- 55ml oil
- 5g baking soda
- 120g refined flour
- Mix all the above ingredients together with some chopped walnuts.
- Place the mixture in a greased mould, topped with remaining walnuts
- Bake this in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes
- Insert a knife in the mixture till it comes out clean
- Serve warm.
