Rice Corner: Green Peas Pulav

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice (soaked)
2 onions (cut in length)
Half cup green peas
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 cloves
1-inch slice of cinnamon
2 large cardamom
5-6 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
3 tsp oil
Salt and lemon juice as per taste
Slightly chopped coriander

Method:

Heat oil in the cooker, add cloves, cardamom and cinnamon and fry it. Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry until golden. Add rice, green peas, green chillies, whole powder spices and salt and fry them. Add 2 cups of water and cook until it is two-three whistles. Serve with lemon juice and green coriander.
