Reasons Why You Could Be Cold All The Time

It happens when your body can’t make the required red blood cells that carry out the oxygen all over your body. Other symptoms of anemia are constant fatigue, pale skin due to lack of blood, irregular heartbeats, hormone imbalances, menstruation problems, headaches, shortness of breath, etc.

Your body is not receiving the needed levels of iron that it needs to pump blood in your body. This makes your blood flow even slower than usual because you lack enough blood in the first place. Since the blood doesn’t reach all the parts of your body soon enough, mainly your hands, feet, face etc you’re always freezing.

Add green leafy veggies, proteins such as meat, nuts, and seeds to your diet to boost your blood levels. You can also intake iron supplements to get the required levels of iron in your body.



Anorexia is a severe eating disorder that is an extreme worry about gaining weight. This then makes the person starve, diet, purge and avoid eating food in order to become thin. Since you aren’t eating enough, your body is constantly trying to reserve energy thus holding back from keeping your warm and circulating blood to your body. Feeling cold all the time due to lack of blood (because there is barely any food in the body), less body weight than necessary, fatigue, depression and missing menstrual cycles are all symptoms of anorexia and other food disorders.

Although anorexia has physical results, it is more so a mental health issue. It takes therapy, willpower and lots of support and love to get back to the real world once you become a victim of any eating disorders. Other than always feeling cold, you will suffer from hair thinning, dry skin, constant tiredness, irregular or heavy menstrual periods, weight gain and water retention.
