Ramzan Special: Our Favourite Mutton Korma

We are naturally feeling tempted to try out the gourmet delicacies as we celebrate Ramzan. Why not try the most popular dish of iftar? Its spicy flavor takes us to a different world altogether. Indeed,mutton korma is as easy to make as it is mouth-watering. Now impress your guests with this dish, without having to place an order at the local restaurant.

Content:

700 gm mutton (cut into pieces)

5 tbsp oil

1 onion (cut in thin slices)

4 tsp thick curd

1 bowl water

Salt to taste

1 tsp Coriander powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

4 cloves

4 green cardamoms

1 piece of cinnamon

2 onions (fried slices)

Slightly coriander (chopped)

Method:

First, heat the oil in a deep pan. Then, fry the finely sliced onions. Now add mutton, curd and water to the pan. Stir well so that the mutton does not stick to the pan. Once the mutton looks soft, add coriander powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt and mix well. Add fried onion slices and let it cook while covered for 5-7 minutes.Remove from flame and transfer the korma to a pot. Garnish with green corianderand serve with rumali roti, naan or rice.
