Preparing lunch daily becomes a hectic routine and we always want to try some new flavours everyday. Methi-Mangodi is a unique dish is a star already at festivals or party occasions. This recipe is very popular in Rajasthan and is very easy to make.

1 pudding fenugreek (chopped)
Half cup mangodi (readymade)
2 tbsp oil
1-1 tsp mix hot garam masala and red chilli powder
1-1 onion and 2 tsp garlic (both finely chopped)
2 tsp Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
As required by water
Half tbsp Sugar
Salt to taste
Fry small pieces of Mangodi in hot oil until it turns golden. Add hot spices to the remaining oil and fry it. Put onions and garlic to taste golden. Mix all the powder spices and fry until the oil dries. Add fried mangodi, salt, sugar in a half cup of water and boil. Add fenugreek and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Methi Mangodi is ready to serve with Chapati.
Note: Do not cook fenugreek for too long after adding it in the Mangodi curry.
