Navratri Special: Choose Nature-Inspired Pinks

On the 9th and the last day of Navratri, welcome Goddess Siddhidatri with the colour pink. Pink is a mandatory colour in every female’s wardrobe, and why not, we simply love the colour! This festive season, choose a pink shade that has nature’s twist – the shade that has been derived from nature. Here are 6 such pink shades that you can opt from with any hesitation as they will definitely make you rock with festive glow.

This is exactly how pink hued corals look like. The combination of pink and orange with an undertone of blue makes it worth to be an eye-candy for sure. Opt for a silk coral pink kurta and style it with other traditional bottoms and dupattas that are of deep and bold colours such as violets, reds, royal blues, mustard, peacock green, etc.

One pink that really looks delicious is watermelon pink colour. The colour goes amazing on Indian skin tones. Since the festive season calls for adding a little bling to your look, opt for a watermelon pink hued kurta, lehenga, ethnic skirt or saree which is embroidered with zari. Apparently, this is one of the most liked saree colours throughout the country.

If you are done with pastel pink for a while, opt for a rose pink hued outfit. The shade is soft, looks extremely regal and gives more feminine touch to the outfit. This festive reason, go for a cotton-silk rose pink kurta and a lighter toned sharara. Copper hued metal jewellery will wonderfully complement this pink.

Fuchsia (Flower)

Want to bolder and riskier than ever with pink? Fuchsia is the answer! A bright fuchsia pink cotton saree will automatically make you stand out from the sea of pink-dressed crowd. And what’s better? The shade will give perfect festive glow to your overall look. If you want to mellow down some fuchsia jazz, opt for lighter and/or deep shades such as mustard, beige, deep forest green, etc. for blouse, dupatta, ethnic bottoms, etc.

Probably the brightest light shade of pink, flamingo pink is definitely the answer to go absolutely glamourous with lighter shades. If you are going to wear a flamingo pink saree, opt for colours like indigo, black, red, white, beige and forest green for blouses and/or for accessories too.

Want to wear pink with a deeper and darker edge? Opt for rosewood pink without any hesitation. The shade gives a rustic touch to your overall look. If you are opting for a rosewood hued saree or kurta, opt for chunky oxidised jewellery such as jhumkas, thread necklace and a nice stone-inlaid kada.
