Kareena Kapoor gave birth to the cutest munchkin Taimur Aliu Khan last year and since then, he has been the centre of everyone’s attention. However, not everyone is aware that she went back to work within nine months of having Taimur, which can take a serious toll on new mothers. But, Kareena is an extremely hardworking mother and tries her best to balance her professional life and family life, which she admits is a big struggle.
Veere Di Wedding will be the first film Kareena will be working on post-pregnancy and she admits that it was difficult and she would like to take things slower from now onwards. She recently opened up in an interview and said, “I still have a song left to shoot for Veere Di Wedding. I am constantly shooting advertisements and also reading scripts. But, I don’t think it should be expected of me to shoot a lot so soon after my delivery. I started Veere Di Wedding nine months after Taimur’s birth and it is almost unheard of in Bollywood. I think people should be patient with me because I do not have the bandwidth to work so hard so soon. I would like to spend some time with my son, get things sorted, and take my time to figure out what I want to do and sort my head out.”
Most women face the pressure of having to keep a steady balance of their work and their family life. Even Kareena, who has the luxury to have a lot of nannies hired for Taimur admits that it’s not an easy task at all!
