Justin Bieber Arrives In Mumbai, All Geared Up To Perform Tonight

Justin Bieber flew down to India by chartered flight at around 1:30 am. The Canadian pop star was welcomed by excited fans outside Kalina airport, Mumbai. Salman Khan’s security head Shera was there to usher him outside in a Rolls Royce to a hotel in Lower Parel. As part of the Purpose Concert, his previous halt was in Dubai. His concert is in Mumbai tonight at 8 pm, at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.

The expected footfall is going to be around 45,000. Navi Mumbai police commissioner Hemant Nagrale has employed 525 personnel, out of which 25 officers are responsible for security and emergencies. All entry and exit points will be guarded and the entire stadium will be under CCTV surveillance including drones hovering above. There’s also going to be a Bomb Detection and Disposal squad.

India has welcomed Bieber with utmost hospitality and warmth. Two five-star hotels have been booked for him and his entourage – and the floors occupied restrict entry for anybody else. His suite has been redesigned and customized in terms of design as well as amenities. Bieber will be taking home a good taste of Indian food with gourmet chefs culling out special dishes for him each day.

Meanwhile, Bollywood has geared up too. Jacqueline Fernandez will be hosting a star-studded bash for the singer. She will also be taking him around town during his stay in Mumbai.
