The Padmavati controversy is becoming more violent by the day and has now claimed a life. The body of a man identified as Chetan Kumar has been found on a parapet at Nahargarh Fort in Rajasthan and is linked to the controversy surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati.
Next to the body, chilling charcoal graffiti was found on a nearby wall which read, “Padmavati, we don’t burn effigies, we hang them.”
It cannot be confirmed if the death of the man was a murder or a suicide as investigations are still on but he has been identified as a citizen of Jaipur.
Ongoing protests against the movie are in full force by Shri Rajput Karni Sena, who claim that the movie has fabricated a part of Rani Padmini and Allaudin Khilji to make it commercial although Sanjay Leela Bhansali has denied those allegations.
We really hope the situation doesn’t get any worse!
