Celebrity Fitness: Deepika’s Workout Regime And Diet Chart

Deepika Padukone has recently completed working with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Padmavati and the beauty is eagerly waiting for her film’s release which is due in December. The trailer was enough to make us admire Deepy’s jaw-dropping attire in the film. Like always, Deepika has managed to look gorgeous and it is evident that the the actress has been following a strict beauty as well as fitness regime. Let’s find out her fitness mantra to achieve a svelte figure like her!

  • Diet

The actress begins her day with a filling breakfast that consists of 2 eggs and a glass of low fat milk or opts for a South Indian breakfast. Brought up in Bangalore, she loves upma, idlis and dosa. Her lunch is simple; 2 chapattis, vegetable salads and dal. To cater to her mid-meal hunger pangs, she eats seasonal fruits and keeps herself hydrated with coconut water. Deepika avoids consuming non-vegetarian food for dinner and eats green salads. Like everyone, Deepy too has her weak points. She cannot resist dark chocolate and keeps a dark cocolate bar with her at all times.

  • Workout

Deepika, who trains with fitness expert Yasmin Karachiwala has developed an affinity towards pilates off lately. She begins her workout with a warm-up routine that includes stretching and a ten minute jog. She also practices Yoga for concentration and relaxation of her mind. Her fitness formula is a combination of cardio, yoga and weight-training.

To maintain a slender frame, Deepika Padukone doesn’t miss a single day of workout, come what may. The days she doesn’t get a chance to hit the gym, she goes for an hour-long brisk walk. Furthermore, she loves dancing and jut grooves to music at home to burn calories.
