  1. Follow a good skin care routine.
  2. Use a clay mask twice weekly 7-10 days prior to menstruation as this will help control the break-outs.
  3. Use a medicated soap during bathing to control acne over the body areas.
  4. Avoid oil massages during this period.
  5. Go for an in-clinic oil control treatment that helps regulate the sebaceous glands seven days prior to menstruation.
  6. Eat a well-balanced diet rich in omega-3 that helps reduce these flare-ups.
  7. If the flare-ups are very bad, consult your doctor/cosmetologist who may prescribe another medication to control this problem.
