Aishwarya Rai Bachchan becomes the first woman to hoist Indian flag at IFFM 2017

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hoisted the Indian flag to mark the 70th year of Independence in Melbourne, Australia. The actress aced the red carpet last night at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). She was accompanied by her daughter, Aaradhya and also sang our national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’

Speaking at the event, the Dhoom actress said, “Thank you so much Melbourne, thank you everyone for giving us such a moment of pride and happiness with so much love and warmth. Celebrating our 70th Independence Day will forever be such a beautiful memory for me and my dearest Aaradhya.”
While she looked stunning donning a white and light blue floor length anarkali dress, her darling daughter Aradhya was seen shining in a white ghagra choli.
