7 Home Remedies To Smoothen Cracked Heels

We often tend to ignore cracked heels and limit our attention solely to ankles. Since, heels are not usually visible when we go out, we do not invest enough time in grooming them. But remember, our heels carry the weight of our entire body and it makes them susceptible to wear and tear. Here’s a list of home remedies to get rid of cracked heels.

1. For bleeding heels, make a paste of neem and basil leaves with turmeric and put them on torn edges.

2. Mix the glycerin with rose water and apply it on the cracks, so that the edges will soften and they will be smooth forever.

3.Any kind of oil is a natural moisturizer for feet. Vegetable oil, such as olive oil, coconut oil, sesame oil softens the ankles. Before going to bed daily, massage with some of these oils and see the difference.

4. Massage the feet using the pulp of banana, pineapple, avocado and papaya. This will make the skin soft.

5.The acidic quality of lemon makes the skin soft, which protects the skin from breakage. For this, you will have to put your feet in lukewarm water, pour lemon juice in water. After a while, rub the pumice stone, then wash it thoroughly with water and dry it with towels. Edges will stay healthy.

6.Take a bowl and take 3 teaspoons of sugar powder, ½ teaspoon sweet soda, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Mix all these ingredients well and prepare a paste. Leave this paste on torn edges for one and a half hour. Then wash it with water and apply moisturizer on the ankles.

7. Honey is considered to be a very good moisturizer because it keeps legs hydrated and nourishes them as well. Take 2 litres of water and mix ½ cup honey in it. In this water, dip your feet for 20 minutes. These measures give back the softness of the feet and make them beautiful too.
