5 Home-made Masks For Common Hair Problems

Coconut and castor oil mask for dry and frizzy hair:

Take 5 tbsp each of coconut oil and castor oil in equal proportions and apply it gently from the roots to the tips. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it for an hour. Rinse it off with a mild shampoo.

Banana mask for weak hair:

Blend one overripe banana in a grinder and add one tbsp of honey or lemon juice to it. Apply it on your hair, especially the roots, and leave it for an hour. Rinse it off with warm water.

Oatmeal hair mask for greasy scalp, dandruff, itching:

Mix oatmeal, milk and almond/olive oil and make a paste. Comb your hair well and gently apply the paste. Leave it for 30 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Hibiscus hair mask for weak roots:

Soak hibiscus petals overnight in a cup of water. Blend them with almond/coconut oil and curd and apply the mixture on your hair. Keep it for 30 minutes and then rinse it with water.

Egg hair mask for thin hair:

Mix a tsp. each of olive oil and lemon juice and one tbsp. of curd to the white of one egg and beat it well. Apply this paste to the entire scalp and hair and keep it for 30 minutes. Rinse it with cool water and a mild shampoo.
