Chamomile is a rich source of alpha-bisabolol, which helps skin rejuvenation. It lightens, brightens and clarifies the skin. Heat up some chamomile tea. Allow it to cool. Add it to your bathing water. You can also mix it with your face pack to fine lines and wrinkles. What’s more, using chamomile as a hair rinse can help protect colour-treated hair while also conditioning your strands. You can use tea bags on your eyes to diminish with dark circles.


Mint is a great natural cure for acne being a rich natural source of salicylic acid. Mint juice prevents in itchy and infected skin. To combat dry and cracked feet, boil mint leaves and soak your feet in the water (once lukewarm). Also, you can grind a few leaves forming paste to spot-treat pimples, or mix with oatmeal and honey for a DIY face mask.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is power-packed with vitamins and minerals. It is super- hydrating and also acts as a moisturiser. It is anti-inflammatory and can help with skin cell turnover. Carefully cut open the leaves, scoop out the gel and apply it directly as a moisturiser, skin-soother or an aftershave gel.

Sage is an antioxidant powerhouse when it comes to anti-ageing, fighting free radicals and acting as a natural astringent for oily to acne-prone skin. It’s also rich in vitamin A and calcium, both of which play a key role in cell regeneration. Sage also promotes hair growth through its circulation-boosting compounds. For your hair, boil the leaves in the carrier oil like coconut or olive, use the extracted sage oil and use it once lukewarm.


It is been scientifically proven that thyme is effective at the cleansing. Its anti-bacterial properties help clear up blemishes. You can use thyme brewed green tea for as an acne-fighting toner. You can also add this mixture to cosmetic clay and use it as a powerful mask.
