Every woman dreams of long silky hair and yet can never seem to achieve it. It can be because of pollution, overuse of products, low maintenance, and other factors. But taking care of your frizzy hair can be a tiring task and require so many products. This makes the whole process expensive and time-consuming. So we’ve found out 4 cheap home remedies that promote hair growth, prevent hair loss and make your hair long and silky.

  • Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera – the king of medicinal plants is known for soothing and nourishing your skin and hair. The enzymes in aloe vera help boost hair follicles and promote hair growth. The best way to use it is by extracting the gel with the help of a spoon and mixing it with 2tbsp of water. Mix the solution thoroughly and apply it to your hair like a hairspray. Repeat it 3 times a week for best results.

  • Curd

The most cooling way to grow long silky hair is to use 1 cup of curd (dahi) mixed with 2tbsp amla powder can be applied on your scalp and hair. Leave the mixture on for 30 minutes before washing off with a sulfate free mild shampoo. Repeat this for 1- 2 times a week. The proteins and vitamins in the curd help rejuvenate your hair from the roots and also prevents dandruff.

  • Fenugreek Seeds

You’ll need 1/4th cup of fenugreek seeds and water. Soak the seeds in the water overnight. The next day blend the seeds into a paste and apply it on your scalp and hair. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes before washing it off with a mild shampoo. Fenugreek seeds are rich in vitamin C and potassium. They aid in preventing hair loss and graying. Use this method once a week for best results.

  • Milk

Want to get rid of frizzy hair? Prepare a mixture of milk and water and apply it on your scalp and hair. Massage your hair thoroughly and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wrap your hair in a towel while you wait. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this remedy 2-3 times a week for smooth silky hair. Rich in vitamin B12, milk is a good nourishing agent for hair growth.
