3 Brilliant Breakfast Recipes Your Kids Will Love

Too lazy to cook on a weekend? Here are a few recipes that will pamper your taste buds and doesn’t need a lot of efforts.

1. COTTAGE CHEESE AND PEAS CROQUETTES

Ingredients: 200 g cottage, cheese (paneer), 40 g green peas, 10 g ginger, chopped, 10 g garlic, chopped, 20 g onion, chopped, 10 g peanuts, 5 g green chillies, chopped, Salt to taste

Method: Take fresh paneer and mash it along with the green peas. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Divide the dough into small portions and give them a cylindrical shape. Shallow fry on a flat tawa or griddle and serve hot with mint chutney.

2. RAJMA KI SHAMI

Ingredients: 200 gm red kidney beans (rajma), 10 g onion, chopped, 10 g garlic, chopped, 5 fresh coriander leaves, 1 g cloves, powdered, 2 g garam masala, Juice of a lemon, Salt to taste

Method: Soak the rajma for 3-4 hours and then boil or pressure cook it. After it gets boiled and cooled, mash the rajma to a pulp. Add chopped onion, garlic, coriander leaves, clove powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt to it and mix well. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them in the form of a medallion. Cook them on a flat tawa or griddle and serve hot.

3. SPEARMINT CHICKEN BALLS

Ingredients: 200 g chicken, boneless, 10 g garlic, 15 g mint, 3 g salt, 2 g black pepper, 10 g celery, 10 ml leek, A few breadcrumbs, One egg, Oil for frying, Mint leaves, for garnishing

Method: Add all the above ingredients (except the egg and breadcrumbs) and pass through a meat processor to mince it. Now turn the mince into round balls; apply oil on your palms while doing so. Coat the balls with
beaten egg and roll them on the crumbs.Deep fry the balls and serve them hot after garnishing with mint leaves.
